EQUINOX OUTDOOR LEARNING
Equinox Outdoor Learning is an alternative education provision based at Gorse Hill City Farm.
The provision is run by a qualified primary school teacher and an experienced forest school practitioner, both of whom have extensive experience of working with children and young adults within specialist provisions.
We follow a child led, hands on learning approach, bespoke to the individual learners needs, with a focus on nature, animal care, well- being and life skills.
We offer places for children, from 6-14 years old, with a variety of individual needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and ESBA.
Each child follows an individual bespoke program, which can include AQA certificates linked to the activities we undertake.
Our sessions include animal care, farm duties, forest school activities, foraging, outdoor cooking, team building, arts and crafts with natural resources as well as looking after the gardens and growing our own food.
Opening days and times:
Tuesdays and Thursdays 10am - 2pm.
